Week 33
A 90 minute practice devoted to the 33rd week of your pregnancy. After a seated breath & upper body flow to center your energy & mind, this class moves into a sequence of held postures that’ll challenge your physical stamina & mental resilience - all to prepare for labor. Our shapes (some active, some passive) are sustained for about 10 slow breaths or 1 minute, the approximate length of time of a contraction, and focus on opening the hips & outer legs and relieving tension along the spine. We’ll end in queen’s pose (supported heart opener with legs up the wall) for savasana.
You’ll need all your props for this class: 2 Blocks, a Blanket, a Strap, a Bolster & Wall Space
